New videos use a vertical frame
New requests use a 13-second, 9:16 portrait frame at 480p. The tall composition is intended for vertical viewing. Check that the face, pickup window and pointing hand remain visible throughout the result, especially near the edges.
Your source photo does not set the video shape
A square or landscape photo can still be the character reference. The generator sets the output ratio separately. Use a clear single-subject image rather than adding blank borders or stretching the face to match a video canvas.
Why the example looks wider
The existing pickup example was generated earlier at 854 × 480 and lasts 13 seconds. It remains a historical landscape example. Changing the generator defaults does not convert that file to native portrait footage; a new portrait example requires a new completed generation.
Review the gesture throughout the clip
Check the beginning, the raised-hand motion and the final pointing pose. A crop that looks good in the first frame can cut off a later gesture. Preview the whole clip at the intended display size, keep any important face or hand inside the frame and confirm that exported audio remains enabled.
